Responsibilities can wait, Blue Calcite said.
When I worked my 9-5 job I remember always clocking in but I vaguely remember clocking out. Clocking out, who does that nowadays? Everyone wants that 'I just want to go in, work, and clock out job' Unfortunately that is not the case for everyone. Being passionate about what you do and being 'hardworking' doesn't necessarily mean you HAVE to work all day every day. There needs to be a B A L A N C E.
I remember what it was like ... deadlines, to-do lists, to-do lists on top of to-do lists, miscellaneous tasks, and don't forget about being under pressure. I mean a human being can only do so much before the clock strikes five.
balance is needed in all aspects of your life. If you draw attention to only one area of your life your soul is only happy in that ONE area. Make sense? It's pretty sad to neglect the other areas. In my opinion, be happy and content with your work, with your partner, with your friends, with your family, and with your hobbies. If you can balance all of that and be happy at the same time then you are just fucking awesome.
So how do you mentally and physically clock out?
Blue calcite. Blue calcite. BLUE CALCITE.
Put one on your desk. Put one on your nightstand. Tape one on your forehead if you need to (kidding, duh). This mineral brings that relaxing, soothing calmness into your life. Sort of like when you just finished getting a massage and you think you can solve the worlds problems with smiles and bubbles.
Seriously, though, it subconsciously reminds you to take some time to R E L A X ... you do remember what that's like, right?
So when it's 11:44 p.m. and you're on your laptop 'working' and forcefully making your brain work ... take a look at that nice blue calcite on your nightstand and I guarantee that you will stop what you're doing, shut that laptop, and let your body and brain just rest.
